Benefits of NAD+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is a vital co-enzyme that is found naturally in every cell of the human body and we have known about it since the early 1900s.

It is essential in the Krebs Cycle, which turns food molecules into energy, DNA repair and transmitting signals between neurons (including in the brain).

Alcohol, pollution, nicotine and even dehydration cause your NAD+ levels to drop too… preventing your body from operating as efficiently as it should.

After the age of about 30, our NAD+ production in our bodies decreases by about 50% every 20 years. At 50 you have half the amount you had when you were 30, and 25% when you are 70. Given how important NAD+ is, it is no wonder people start to feel old!

The Benefits

Physical Performance

NAD+ is required to release energy from food molecules. Increased energy lets you train harder, for longer.

Brain Function

NAD+ is required to transmit signals from one neuron to another. The faster the signals fire, the sharper your thoughts and your reaction times.

Quality of Life

NAD+ plays a critical role in cellular repair and DNA protection by repairing damage caused in cell replication. Being well maintained at the cellular level adds up to a whole body wellness.

Metabolic Regulation

NAD+ is involved in many metabolic pathways including those that impact heart health, diabetes & weight gain. It also can help with addiction and cravings.

Physical Appearance

NAD+ helps cells regenerate, which can be most easily seen in the skin and hair. Healthy regeneration means nourished skin and hair.

Mood Boosting

Healthy NAD+ levels improve blood flow, energy levels and enable serotonin & dopamine release, all of which will help you feel more positive and like the best version of you.
