What is the treatment?

Your appointment begins with a compulsory ear check to confirm that irrigation or micro-suction is suitable and safe. If appropriate, the practitioner uses either a gentle stream of body-temperature water or a micro-suction device to remove excess wax and debris from the ear canal. The process is closely controlled, and most people experience little to no discomfort.

Combinations and add-ons

Ear irrigation can be added to general health checks or wellness consultations where blocked ears, dizziness or balance issues are being investigated.

Who's it for?

Ear irrigation is suitable for adults and older children with confirmed wax build-up who are experiencing blocked ears, muffled hearing, fullness, ringing or discomfort. It is not appropriate for everyone, which is why the initial ear check is required before treatment.
